Meg Hall joins the Kids First for Kids! Team

Meg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works in private practice in South Portland. She is a lifelong Mainer (Maineiac) with brief stints in Australia during college and in the Philippines for the Peace Corps (1999-2001). Meg graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Government and Environmental Studies in 1997 and from the University of New England with a Masters in Social Work in 2004. She has committed her life to the field of social work; having worked as an in-home clinician, a day and residential treatment social worker, an assistant director for residential treatment, a director of outpatient programming, and as a social worker/therapist in pediatric specialty care. Meg has over 20 years of counseling experience working with kids, teens and adults, specializing in supporting those struggling with anxiety, coping skills, depression and chronic illness. Meg also completed her aerial yoga teacher training in 2022 and her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2023. In the past, she has taught hip hop dance and performed locally with various dance groups.

Meg tries to bring fun and optimism to all that she does and is very excited to be entering her second year at the Kids First Center as a facilitator for the Kids First for Kids! program.
